The Dr. Reddy's Institute of Life Sciences was conceived in the context of globalization, to foster research competence in India and to bridge the divide between academic research and the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industries.  The institute was incorporated as a non-profit entity under Section 25 of the Indian companies act, facilitating operational autonomy. Construction of the DRILS building comprising 44 labs and an administrative block and spanning ~130,000 sq.ft. in area, began in 2004 and was completed in January 2007.

Eligibility & Qualifications:
• M.Pharm or Pharm.D (specialization in regulatory affairs preferred)
• Other specialization with training in regulatory affairs (industry experience preferred)
• Excellent communication skills (a genuine interest in teaching preferred)
• Knowledge of GMP, Analytical-QC/QA, I.P. awareness
Experience : 2-3 years
Job Description
The Centre for Advancement of Research Skills (CARS) at Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences conducts training programs including those aimed at industry-relevant skills.
Under the supervision of the centre head, the Training Associate will be responsible for:
i. Teaching the following topics to students and other trainees.
a. Indian and International Pharmaceutical Regulations
b. ICH guidelines on quality, safety, and efficacy of drugs
c. Preparation of common technical documents (CTD) and its electronic counterpart (e-CTD)
d. Drug approval, post marketing regulatory requirements, and drug registration
e. Pharmaceutical patents, IPR and regulations, licensing, technology transfer
ii. Evaluation of the trainees via oral and written tests.
iii. Designing courses in the area of regulatory affairs, preparing presentations and tests, and keeping up with current developments in the area.
