Career for M.Pharm, M.S Pharm in Research at BITS

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The primary motive of BITS is to "train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information". The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Mr G.D.Birla - an eminent industrialist, a participant in Indian freedom struggle and a close associate of the Father of Indian Nation late Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi). What started in early 1900s as a small school, blossomed into a set of colleges for higher education, ranging from the Humanities to Engineering until 1964 when all these colleges amalgamated to culminate into a unique Indian University of International standing. This university was christened as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, known to many as BITS, Pilani.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to work as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an industry sponsored projects at Department of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus.
Fellowship : As per project norms (25,000 per month)
Essential Qualification : M. Pharm/ M.S. (Pharm.) in Pharmaceutics with GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent examination will be preferred.
Title:. Enhancement of oral bioavailability of selected drugs.
Duration: Three years
Investigators : Dr Aniruddha Roy and Dr. Gautam Singhvi.
Requirement: Candidates with experience in nanoformulations, biopharmaceutics, cell culture techniques or pharmacokinetic techniques would be preferred.
How to apply: Interested candidate should send complete bio data to the respective principal investigator through email on or before 5th December, 2018.
The selected candidate will be allowed to register for Ph.D program of BITS, Pilani as per Institute's procedure, subject to availability of seats and fulfillment of other essential criteria as per rule.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed through Email and will be called for interview at Department of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. Date will be communicated via email.
Note:
1. Positions mentioned are purely temporary and for the period of duration of the project.
2. If performance of candidate not found satisfactory, position can be terminated with one month of prior notice.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
