Job Opening as Inspector of Drugs (3 posts) under Department of Health & Family Welfare

Directorate of ISM Drugs Control under the Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Online Applications are invited from Indian Citizens and such other national as declared eligible by the Government of India for recruitment to the post of Inspector of Drugs, ISM Drugs Control in West Bengal General Service Service under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.

Scale of Pay: Rs.15600/- --- Rs.42000/-, [PB 4A, Grade Pay – Rs. 5400/-]. Other allowances shall also be admissible as per existing Government Rules.

Qualification:
A. Academic & Experience :
Essential :
(i) A Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law and shall have undergone practical training in the manufacture of Ayurvedic (including Siddha) or Unani Drugs, as the case may be;
OR
(ii) A Degree in Ayurvedic or Siddha or Unani or a degree in Ayurveda Pharmacy, as the case may be, conferred by a University or a State Government or a Statutory Faculty, Council or Board of Indian System of Medicine recognized by the Government for this purpose ;,
OR
(iii) A Diploma in Ayurveda, Siddha or Unani Systems as the case may be, granted by a State Government or an Institution recognized by the Government for this purpose ; AND
(iv) Knowledge of Bengali – Spoken and Written.
B. Age :
Not more than 36 years on 1st. January, 2018.
Age is relaxable for the persons holding substantive appointment under the Government of West Bengal an for persons having higher qualifications and/or longer experience than those prescribed.
Provided that the upper age limit may be relaxed for the SC, ST and other Backward Classes , Physically Handicapped and Ex-Serviceman as per rules and order of the Government.
NOTE : The claim of candidate for relaxation of age as a Govt. employee should be proved by a certificate from the appointing authority showing the period of his/her continuous service under Government of West Bengal and the same should be furnished when called for.
Fee : Candidates must submit online the application fee amounting to Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred & ten) only through GRPS ( Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal under the Head of Account ‘0051-00-104-002-16’.
Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. shall not be acceptable. No application shall be considered unless accompanied with the requisite application fee.
