Applications are invited for one senior and one Junior Research Fellows under the Department of Science and technology (International Bilateral Co-operation Division) Indo Hungary Call for Proposals 2017. Indo-Hungarian Inter-governmental Science & Technology Co-operation Programme at institute of Chemical technology for the following project related to Dementia as detailed below:

Project:DEM-AID: Innovative drug development against dementia
Principal Investigator: Prof. Sadhana Sathaye
Principal Investigator Co: Prof. Shreerang V. Joshi
Principal Investigator Co: Prof. Padma Devrajan
Principal Investigator Co: Prof. Mariam Degani
SRF
Qualification SRF1: M.Pharm-Pharmacology, M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy or equivalent)
Experience: Candidates with experience in working in Dementia, Alzheimer and Neurological studies or animal handling, and other Pharmacology related studies may be preferred.

JRF
Qualification JRF1: M.Pharm-(Pharmaceutical Chemistry or equivalent)
OR
M.Tech Pharmaceutical Technology
OR
Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (students who have submitted thesis but result awaited can also apply).
Experience: Candidates with work experience on a 'peptide synthesizer' may be preferred. Experience in working in synthesis or metabolism studies may be preferred.
Remuneration/Tellowship :
JRF-1 @ 25,000 pm + 30% HRA
SRF-1 @ 28,000 pm + 30% HRA
The project fellow will be appointed Three Year, and the tenure MAY be extended based on performance and continuation of funding support. The fellow may be allowed to register for PhD, if eligible as per ICT rules.

Selection will be based on an interview conducted by a committee. The recommendation of the committee will be final. No TA/DA will be provided to appear for this interview.
