National Research Institute of Ayurvedic Drug Development (NRIADD) formerly known as Central Research Institute of Ayurveda which was earlier established as Regional Research Institute (Ay.) on 1971 at Jagannath Dutta Lane, Kolkata and then the Institute was shifted to Bidhannagar, Kolkata on 1997 in its own building. Govt. of West Bengal had provided 3 acres land in the most posh area of Kolkata (SEZ) for the present campus. National Research Institute of Ayurvedic Drug Development is presently functioning with six departments, namely Hospital (OPD & IPD), Pathology & Biochemistry, Pharmacognosy, Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacy.

Walk-in-interview for the eligible candidates will be held on purely temporary basis in IMR research project at Central Ayurveda Research Institute for Drug Development (CARIDD). The required qualifications and other details are as under:
Title of the Project: Evaluation of Kanchanar guggulu against chemically induced hypothyroidism in rats
Duration: 2 years
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with two years of research experience in animal experimentation /Pharmacology/ toxicology) or M.Pharm. (Pharmacology)
Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.01.2018
Monthly remuneration Rs. 28,000/- + Rs.8,400/- (HRA@30%) = Rs. 36,400/- per month
