Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) is an autonomous R&D institute of Department of Science and Technology Govt. of India involved in research in the areas of Physical Science, Life Sciences and Computational and Numerical Studies.
Junior Research Fellow - 01 post
Project Name: DBT sponsored projects entitled, “Chemical profiling of Joha and black rice of NER for nutritional, nutraceutical parameters and aromatic compounds”
Pay: Candidates with NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualification or degree in professional courses, otherwise (candidates without NET/GATE/ BET/ BINC qualification) Rs.12, 000/+20% HRA per month.
Educational Qualification and Experience: Candidates with M.Sc/M.Pharm degree (with minimum of 55% marks) in Biochemistry/Zoology (Cell & Molecular Biology)/ Pharmaceutical chemistry are eligible to apply. Candidates having research experience on natural products/animal model/cell culture techniques/molecular biology tools will get preference.
Age: Age limit is 28 years. It is relaxable for SC/ ST/ Woman candidate as per Govt. rule.
Technical Assistant - 02 posts
Project Name: DBT sponsored project entitled “Quality Control & Quality Assurance laboratory facility for the phytopharmaceutical mission for North East India”
Pay: Rs. 12,000/- per month (with 10% enhancement per annum). No additional allowances such as HRA etc. will be provided.
Educational Qualification and Experience: M.Sc. in Microbiology
Age: Age limit is 28 years. It is relaxable for SC/ ST/ Woman candidate as per Govt. rule.
Technical Assistant - 01 post
Project Name: DBT sponsored project entitled “Quality Control & Quality Assurance laboratory facility for the phytopharmaceutical mission for North East India”
Pay: Rs. 12,000/- per month (with 10% enhancement per annum). No additional allowances such as HRA etc. will be provided.
Educational Qualification and Experience: M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology/Microbial Biotechnology
Age: Age limit is 28 years. It is relaxable for SC/ ST/ Woman candidate as per Govt. rule.
